You decide the scope: one conversation, one person, one year. Nothing else leaves your device.
Tecida shows the exact excerpts first. Remove anything you want before sending.

Privacy by architecture
Privacy isn’t a setting you have to find. Search, the people graph and indexing never leave your device, and Tecida Insights only sends the excerpts you approve. This is the local pipeline:
Your phone or computer
Chat export. The file you saved from WhatsApp. It is read where it sits, never copied anywhere else.
Parsing, analysis, embeddings and the language model all run locally.
Exports and indexes live only on your phone or computer, and you can delete them at any time.
Analysis never needs a connection. Tecida Desktop goes online once, to download its models.
We never collect, store or see the content of your conversations.

Our story
In Brazil, family logistics, school groups, client deals and entire small businesses run on WhatsApp. We kept coming back to the same question: what if all of that could be remembered, without handing it to anyone?

No. Your chats are processed only on your phone or computer. We have no server that receives them, so we couldn’t read them even if we wanted to.
Open the chat, tap ⋮ (on iPhone, tap the contact or group name), then More › Export chat › Without media. Save or share the file to Seasons or to your computer.
WhatsApp exports from Android and iPhone, as .txt or .zip, in Portuguese, English and other languages. Telegram and Instagram are next.
Because that uploads your private conversations to someone else’s servers, and years of history don’t fit in a chat window anyway. Tecida indexes everything locally and answers with links to the exact messages.
Windows 10 or later, macOS 11 or later, or a recent Linux, with 4 GB of free RAM and 1 GB of disk. A GPU makes it faster but isn’t required.

The core keeps running on your device: indexing, search and the people graph. The only cloud feature is Tecida Insights, where Claude analyzes excerpts you choose and approve. It is optional and off until you turn it on.
